Standard Wams in Wolle – Standard Doublet made of Wool

Das Wams hat einen schlichten Schnitt. Die Front kann alternativ mit Knöpfen oder Nestelschnürung versehen werden. Die Ärmel können angenestelt oder halb, bzw komplett fest vernäht sein. Durch eine nur teils angenähte Ärmelform eignet sich das Wams gut zum fechten. Man kann das Wams tragen ohne die Ärmel mit überzustreifen, so bietet sich eine lässige Trageversion, wie man sie in einigen Gemälden alter Meister abgebildet findet. Der Ärmel selber ist standardmäßig bis zum Handgelenk geschlossen. Gefüttert standardmäßig mit Leinen natur (nicht bei rotem Oberstoff). Leichter Stehkragen. Nestellschnüre sind nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten.

Standard doublet made of wool

A simply styled doublet. The front can be made with buttons or laces. The sleeves can be laced as well as partly or entirely sewed on the doublet. If it is only partly sewed, it provides more free movement for fencing. Without slipping into the sleeves, the doublet can be worn in a very causal way as shown in some of the old masters paintings. The sleeve itself is closed til the wrist. Padded standardly with natural linen (different colour if the fabric on the outside is red). Slight stand-up collar. Laces are not included in the delivery.
